GUARDS

Responsibilities

 Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and
monitoring premises and personnel.

Requirements

  • Background Check (FBI & DOJ)

  • Employment Reference Check

  • Valid Driver License (DMV Check with clean record)

  • Drug Screening

  • Highschool Diploma

  • Valid Guard Card License

Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service to the client, its associates and facilities personnel

  • Patrol assigned post on foot or by vehicle to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual, unwanted or criminal activity

  • Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger client, its associates or public safety, including fires, evacuations, hazardous

  • situations, or other facility related events; provide back up to client personnel as needed

  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

  • Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Supervisor or client; complete various company or client assignments as required; submit reports to superior officer

  • Controls traffic by directing drivers.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all employees, suppliers, and visitors on company property have proper company issued identification

  • Ensure that the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment

Admin & Dispatch

Duties

  • Communicating with supervisors, peers, or subordinates.

  • Dealing with people and make timely decisions.

  • Monitor security cameras then observe and report suspicious activities and persons

  • Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARS)

  • Receiving incoming calls via phone and/or radio dispatch from field personnel related to security or other type activities

  • Coordinate with appropriate law enforcement, fire and medical dispatch centers in response to security officer’s needs

  • Receive requests for information regarding vehicle permits and registration and theft status and provide pertinent information to field officers. 

  • Generate report logs and other documentation as needed

  • Log information received into proprietary report system

  • Sign-in/out Patrol Fleet keys, cards & equipment

  • Relay information and administrative support to field officers on an "as needed" basis

  • Commitment to the Metro Surveillance team which includes a willingness to work additional shifts above and beyond the normal schedule as needed
